Working Principle of Boiler System:


The main purpose using boiler system in industrial applications is to convert water into steam with the help of heat energy which is generated by the combustion of fuels like coal, oil, wood, or natural gas. Basically, boiler systems used different types of fans to maintain air-flow, re-circulate air and also to remove exhaust gases from the fuels. Based on the boiler size and air flow requirement and specifications a varied industrial fan is used with varied capabilities.

Applications of Draft Fans


Essentially, an industrial Draft Fans plays an important role in thermal power plants, chemical factories, cement plants, steel plants, furnaces like oil and gas, mills and machinery and many more. Because these draft fans regulate the air pressure inside boiler system. 

An Industrial Draft Fans are broadly classified into 2 types:


1. Forced Draft Fan
2. Induced Draft Fan

The primary difference between these 2 draft fans is Forced Draft Fans forces outside air into the heating system whereas Induced Draft fans draw flue gases from the boiler system out into the atmosphere. Both fans operate in such a way that it balances the air-flow, remove exhaust gases from the system and also make the combustion process more efficient.
